A fundraiser to benefit Oligo Nation
Please join us!
It's hard to believe that I'm nearing six months since brain surgery. I've made incredible progress in the past few months - from going back to work part-time and starting to teach yoga again, to drastically reducing the amount of daily pain medication needed, to just coming to terms with the colossal changes and implications for the road ahead. I'm still on a lot of medication, and will still be in chemotherapy treatment for quite some time. That said, as I near the half-year mark, I couldn't be more grateful for all the support and love that friends and family have expressed. Thank you!
To mark this milestone, our family has decided to host our first annual walk-a-thon fundraiser benefitting Oligo Nation, an organization dedicated exclusively to the oligodendroglioma community and mobilizing around funding medical research for new, more effective treatments. We'd love for you to join us from wherever you are in the world! The idea is simple - contribute your steps toward a cure - whether that is around your block, a 3K or a 5K walk. We'll be walking the weekend of October 2nd. Please join us, donate if you can, and share with others who may be interested.
Thank you very, very much!
