Dried fruit mix
Dried fruit is a healthy dessert for when you to help meet your 'sweet tooth' cravings. It can be eaten really at any time of day, or added to oatmeal to naturally sweeten your oatmeal. I've radically cut back on processed foods since my own diagnosis, and always keep a good supply of dried fruit at home. Some of my favorites include:
Apricots
Dates
Figs
Mango
Raisins
Cranberries

Always remember to rinse your dried fruit if buying in bulk, and also to soften if it's been in a package for a while.
