Peanut butter sandwich
During my own treatment over the past nine months, I've rediscovered the joy and ease of peanut butter sandwiches. This could be in a category of its own and fall under breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack!
Method - select your favorite whole wheat or rye bread.
Spread peanut butter on top of the bread, and then spread jam on top of the peanut butter.
Hint: search for jam at the store (or make your own) that has minimal added sugar. If you don't like jam, try cutting banana slices on top of the peanut butter.

bonus tip: Everyone is different. During my own treatment days, I find peanut butter sandwiches and oatmeal among the most appealing and easiest categories of food to eat. I add bananas, dried fruit, nuts, and peanut butter to my oatmeal - turning it into breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
